I always love to go on free and easy tour as I don't feel comfortable having meals with stranger and also it can be very rush too but hubby prefer to travel with tour as it don't required any planing at all and do not need to worry about transportation. On Mon hubby and I travel to taipei by SQ, We got a great deal for the ticket at only $644.00 each ( incl. tax & fuel charges ) at natas fair, we stayed at season hotel royal at nanjing road at about $213.00 per night, 20 min walk to zhongshan metro which is quite far for me especially when I carry so many shopping bag but they do have a shuttle bus to send us to taipei main station or zhongshan station but have to book earlier,and the breadfast they provided is not a buffet style but in a set meal. We brought a easy card where we can take multiple trips and the price for the ticket is NT500 each. Ah Zhi told me taipei food is nice but I personally feel it is quite normal and the food I like most is teppanyaki at danshui and the food at Hello Kitty restaurant, and dun miss mister donut as it taste great too and maybe I like spicy food so the food there I find is not suitable for me. As for shopping I like sogo at zhongxiao fuxing station and if you all likes to buy cloths can try wufenpun wholesales at houshanpi station.
